The Twisted library for working with OSCAR and other protocols has earned money with KICQ.

Since a long time ago, the forgotten Twisted library in the Python 2.7 interpreter has been working with KICQ. Twsited version 11.1.0 was used, released quite recently - in 2011, 14 years ago, but still working with the then outdated OSCAR protocol, as well as IRC.
You can look at an example bot for old-web.com in this file. The bot itself is available via UIN 3-718-012 and works around the clock.
With the help of the bot, you can get a convenient list of the latest news and site topics by entering the appropriate commands (the list of which is sent to you when you use the!help command).
